Regular Denture Maintenance

Regular maintenance can enhance fit, feel, and experience...

Over time, your dentures may need to be adjusted to ensure you continue to have a comfortable, seamless experience. As a person ages, their mouth naturally changes; for example, bone and gum ridges can recede or shrink. In many cases, this completely normal process can affect the way a set of dentures fits and feels in the mouth.

All adjustments should be made by your denturist.

In most cases, denture wearers should continue to see their regular dentist for routine cleanings and oral health checks. Additionally, the dentures themselves should be checked and cleaned annually by your denturist.

Please contact The Denture Center at your soonest convenience if you have noticed a change in your dentures, or if you have a question regarding maintaining and caring for your dentures.
